RE: LP Quick Connect

remove that gray cover and hook it up between and bottle and the coach regulator. You may have to modify the gray cover to get it back on. It is just a warning and dust cover. Good luck

RE: Shocks for 07 Seneca 06 Chassis Help

Make sure to check your rv for what shock your Kodiak takes. I just spent half a day and ordered two sets of wrong ones. It sounds like Chevy changed the rear set up for a couple of months in 06 and mine are eye and stud. koni part number 8805 1022 SP 1. Bryce

RE: Were are the used Kodiaks?

On PPL they are all gulfstreams... that could tell you something. Look for Big foot, Jayco (the biggest sellers), Fourwinds, and Lazy Days: find one that has been on the market for more than 30days. I know there is a weight issues, but if you are not going to full time in these they are great RV's. Watch what you load them with and they handle much better than the normal calss C. The international might be a better chassis for the weight if you are going to full time, but for the money ......... the Kodiak is the best bang for the buck. Bryce

Were are the used Kodiaks?

Just a quick question with all of this talk of the over weight and GS discontinuing the Kodiak..... Why is it had to find a used Jayco, Bigfoot, or Four Winds on the Kodiak? You would think that if there is such a problem with them then the market would be full of these (used) units and people would have to be giving them away. I know I looked for over a year to find a used 05 or 06 and did not find one Just a question Bryce

RE: Four Winds, Chateau, or Dutchmen with Kodiak Chassis

I just want to put my 2 cents in and say I have had a VERY Good relationship with Four Winds (Thor). I had some major issues with my RV and they have went the extra mile to help me and make sure I am happy in the end. I see you all are really good at looking at past posts you can figure out the issues I had. I had done my background before I bought this RV (last Nov). Which is my first. I had heard about the weight issues and I know this RV is not the top of the line and there is going to be problems. Isn't that why we do a pre delivery inspection? For anyone out there looking to buy a Four Winds or any other brand, remember do your research on the brand and the DEALER (they need to be your best friend) and buy the RV you are going to be happy with. RE: Satellite HELP

Well we are in the same boat then. I guess I will have to throw in the stationary dish for a back up. I have had nothing but problems when I first got this system last Dec. it was in and out of the shop a few times. The dealer tried to charge me $200 to reprogram it each time. I told them for that price give me the software so I can do it myself or replace the system with a new one that works. Thanks Bryce

RE: Kodiak chassis question

Same problem here. I have a Fourwinds 33K and the last 2 hangers have broken. The first time they fixed it they welded it and it was broke by the time I got home. I took it back and they welded it again and it broke again. Then I took it to my local Chevy shop and they put a HD truck hanger on it and it has been fine for 3000 miles. Bryce
